That's a MTX Thundercast 15" model and it has quick specs of:
MTX TC154 (4ohm model with an 8ohm version as the TC158) 25Hz-2kHz Frequency Response 400/1000 Power Rating (RMS/Total) 93dB Sensitivity 3" Voice Coil 82oz Magnet 6 1/4" Mounting Depth I never had much experience with the ThunderCast drivers but I played with many ThunderPro's and I quite enjoyed them. They sounded very good and could take quite a bit of abuse. |
that sub was really good bak in the day for mtx. I had 2 thunderpros hooked up to 2 ppi A1200's which blew the hell out of the thenderpros. I picked up the 2 thundercasts and boy did they hit heavy behind the ears mang. I had this hooked up in a 2door 84 pontiac acadian.
