looking for a cost effective remote start/alarm combo

hello all. im looking for a remote start for my 99 buick park avenue (passkey3 transponder key system)

id like it to have keyless entry and possibly an alarm. only hitch is it has to have the transponder bypass. the kit i put in my first car was a bulldog security remote start, and came with the transponder kit built into the brain for $60. i was really impressed with the ease of installation on that guy. only issue i had with it was that the lock button is also unlock. im the type of paranoid person who hits the lock button more than once because i cant be 100% sure i locked it previously. with the lock/unlock being the same button, i just skipped the keyless part and run 2 remotes.

that being said, on my second PA i want to do it "right" and have all the stock security/ease of use but with one remote. only issue im having is everything i can find under 150 either does not include the bypass or is a brand i have never heard of. id like to retain the reliability of what i have on the old PA and keep the same "ease of install" it had.

any info or tips are much appreciated!

I would suggest the Compustar FT6200S + RF-1WG6SH + iDatalink ADS-DL. That would do everything you need over the J-data connection. The brain in a remote start only, however using the OP500 programmer, It can be set to be a passive alarm (monitors doors, hood, trunk). That would total you in around 165, but 7 connections and you're done.
