Wiring Amp and Tuning

So here is what I got:

MTX X300DP 900W pk, 300RMS amp
mated with 2x 10in MTX MZS1004 rated at 300RMS (each sub) in a ported/vented Box

X300DP Specs:
Pk: 900W
RMS: 300RMS
Gain: 0.25V - 5V
Sub Sonic: 20Hz - 50Hz
Bass Boost: 0 - 12dB
LPF: 40Hz - 200Hz

MZS1004 Specs:
Fs: 35.34 Hz
Qms: 4.37
Cms: 0.145 mm/N Mms: 140.32 g
Rms: 7.13 kg/s
Vas: 1.079 ft3 (30.56 liters)
Xmax: 0.530 in (13.46 mm)
D: 8.750 in (222.25 mm)
Sd: 60.13 in2 (387.95 cm2)
Vd: 31.87 in3 (0.52 liters)
Qes: 0.79
Re: 3.28 Ω
Bl: 11.37 Tm
Prms: 300 Watts
Qts: 0.670
ηο: 0.165 % S
PLo: 84.37 dB
SPL 2.83V/1m: 88.14 dB

All the wires (4Ga), RCA's, Remote, Ground, Fuse, etc... are in place just need to plug in AMP and tune.

Q1:

The amp says 300RMS, but I have two 10in subs at 300RMS each so does that make it 150RMS if I have both running? Am I under powering or over powering the subs?

I will connect them in 2ohm configuration since they are 4ohm each if that helps

Q2:

My Alpine deck IVA-D900 has subwoofers RCA outputs and according to the spec sheet it is max at 4V, 10Kohms max, Bass output at +-14dB at 30Hz.

How should I approach the tuning of this AMP? Set the gain to 4V?

Thanks in advance... btw go easy on me guys first time attempting this! If you have anything that will make this an easier experience let me know.

Read what sunfired posted, it's a link, it will give you all the info you need to set your gains properly. It's impossible for us to tell you what to set it at without being there.
