160 in Street???
who thinks it'll be done next season? and in what vehicle???
...
I am pretty sure a 160 has already been done in street lol
...
I just double checked the leaderboard...three people have already broke 160 in street class, two in street C and one in street B...I beleive all three are Pandas so it wouldn't really be a shock if more pandas start breaking 160s...
well since this is a canadian site, i was refering to canadain competitors lol

Les Kostuch, Toyota Yaris
Frank Barlow will be close.
who :dunno:
I honestly don't see it happening at all next sesaon.
The highest street vehicle in Canada was a 56.2.. you think there's going to be a 4db difference from one season to the next? :sly: |
...
depends if there is a person who puts a panda together properly for street class I suppose. But I also think its doubtful because not many Pandas are above 160 even with people who have been working on them for a long time
it could be possible :dunno:
there seems to be alot of talk goin on for next year... you never know whos hiding some secret ;) |
...
true but just because you have a panda doesn't mean it will be loud, you also need the money, equipment and know how. Trinlect did a big number in his Panda with the help of cactus and was still 3db behind Cactus's panda...I doubt we will see a 160 this year

the real question should not be 'who'?
in which of the street classes will the 160 be broken, thats the real question. |
I would be more interested to see somebody do a 160 in a crx in Canada or US.
A new post would be who will have the loudest crx in each class and what will they hit. |
Dale,
this thread is about US or Canada. matter of fact, someone might be not too too far off. |
its very possible with the right know how
that and having a few spys in europe wouldnt hurt :D |
I don't know why, it's probably just me, but a loud panda just doesn't excite me for some reason. Don't get me wrong, it will be a feat in itself if somebody imports one and gets it up to a 60, but for me I would love to see somebody get a North american vehicle to give a panda a run for it's money. Call it an underdog thing or whatever, but that's what I would like to see. Not to mention all the whining from everybody about the panda, and it being unfair and whatever, it just doesn't seem worth it.
there was no mentioning of panda in this thread
I have to agree with you Hornet, Panda's just don't do it for me, seeing a High number in something that has been proven many times, just doesn't appeal to me! SEeing it in something totally unique is where its at!
but that was the case for the longest time with the CRX. the CRX was running the street class for many years, it was the holy grail of vehicles for the Street category for years and years until the Panda/Marbella came along. The Europeans had a hard time trying to keep up with the North Americans and their CRX until they found a way to get their loud. Now everyone complains about that...too bad I say
good point too

with all the noo.....i mean world class competitors buying all these atomic amps and team soundstream forming and recruting the best of the best noo.....i mean world class competitors that 160 should not be too hard to accomplish in almost any vehicle now.
:lol_hitti .... so true.
I would like to see a CRX hit a 160 that would be cool ... It wont be me by any means lol ... Next year will be my first year in Db Drag ...
I am talking with a fellow in France his name is Christophe V. During finals he played in Street A. With a 159.4. That is huge with only one battery. He is running a pair of Atomic subs. Ill find the link and post it when I get home.
I didn't read the other pages untill now so if you are talking Northamerica I don't think it will happen unless someone finds a different car or power amps that somehow produces 100000000 watts off a 12volt.
I think the crx wont be the first north american car to break 160
Go LESSY Go:smokin:
I think Less is on the right track as he just cracked his egg and spawn a new chickling. It is possible with what he has but just needs some more time to figure out the sweetness in the car , recaro seats ??
