Been a busy weekend. Woodbridge on Saturday and Hamilton today. Managed to make it to both, despite it pouring out as I left for Hamilton this morning. Cleared up beautifully just as I got into town. I didn't do well in bassrace either day. Qualifying looked good both days, then when it mattered S#!T happened. DbDrag was another story though. Finally figured out the peak frequency of my car is 39hz. Yesterday hit a new personal best at 141.5, and came 2nd in street A. Today the 1st run did not look good at 140.2. A little tweaking had brought that all the way up to another new personal best of 142.1 in the street A finals losing by 0.3db to Kris Jones with 142.4. 1 more silver medal and another trophy for the collection. Not a bad start to my competition career. So far in 6 shows I have taken home at least 1 trophy for something. Quick pic.

Should still be ready for the weekend of the 10th if your still coming by. I changed the enclosure design again. You'll be the only one to see this till the next show I attend. IT's GONNA BE SICK!! I hope to get a TL by them also so only we will know what I'm bringing to the show. lol

Congrats again bro, I'm jealous. I think I'm going to have to join IASCA and IDBL. The guys in my class are hitting numbers I can't touch right now. Dought even with the new box I can come close.

Congrats on the success bud. I am surprised your cavalier is peaking so low you peak should be around 44-48hz. but i see your box is also tuned low for daily though. If you were to bring the tuning up to about 42 on your box you would probably see a big jump.

 

Thanks man. Yeah I have been considering doing just that. I want to get a new amp 1st though. 2x 1000rms subs are only getting 1100rms total. After that I want to build a higher tuned box and see how much I gain. Might take some experimenting to get one that is loud and good for daily and SQ. I love building boxes so should be fun. LOL

Hey you've had a great first year. I wish I lived closer to everyone.

I'm gonna try to talk my local shop into holding an event. It's been several years since Windsor held an audio event.
