I'd redirect all of this information to Ray Choy as he is the current dbdrag rep in Canada.. Maybe someone should start a post about what they would like/not like to see, then someone get Ray to take a look at it..

Ray's a good guy, I'm sure he will fight for us!

I don't see the problem if people are charging $20 to anter a show already and getting atleast 15-20 cars that's $300-$400 now because it will cost $100 to put on the show people are complaining if you want to support the industry you won't mind taking the money out of the profit that would have gone into your pocket, this is a hobby not a way to get rich.

i remember back 2 years ago when the cecco's, perfect tones and 20hz all got together and put on a 2X, spent the $500us to register it then $500 on trophies, then $300 for flyers...then in the end only charged $25 to enter the show with no regard to wheather or not they would make there money back that they put in. some of us put on shows for the fun of the sport to help out others so that they have a chance to attend world finals, so if it will cost $100 to put on a show i don't see how anybody that is comitited to the canadian spl scene can complain

Well.. putting on a single 2x one season is one thing. But to make a whole seasons worth of shows is another. (not to deminish what those guys did, I think it's grat!)

Putting on enough shows to make a worthwhile season could end up being costly.
