2010 Ontario Regional Finals - 3X Db Drag & Bass Race Event - Sept 26 in Barrie, ON
So, you can make your own music now... whats stopping people from hiding test tones? Slowed music? So, someone could insert a tone "slowed" at like 25-32seconds on a track and have a nice peaky score right at the end?
...Gay... I thought the fact of needing to use "original" music tracks that had a good enough beat to compete was part of the fun.
SO, for all the people taking advantage of the new rules... I'll be sticking to "original" (used very loosely) music tracks.
Win or lose (damn new rules)... sure am looking forward to Bass Race.

Wouldn't "slowing" a "note/music" almost turn into a tone though? I mean it would depend on how long it was slowed for I guess, just seems like a HUGE grey area now for people to dabble in...
All good, see everyone there!!!

My song is no secret yuli... not slowed, screwed, or jacked... you can hear the words outside the van no problem. It is exactly as was originally recorded. Maybe in a crappier bitrate though...
Then again, I might need a new song with new box and amp, but there won't be any messing with the song. Besides, I have no idea how to do that anyway.
I still don't even have everything installed yet. Talking about winging it....

Yeah bass race rules aren't all that great. In all fairness you could use a program like fruity loops and make a song using "notes" which are essentially test tones. But what I meant was a find a part of a song that I think will work and loop it for 45 seconds or so to make sure I have a long enough piece. The song I used to use had words and everything, but then I heard it was illegal, so I just found another song with the same note. Its strange, car audio calls it frequency but musicians call it notes.
