just a reminder for competitors, the event fee is $25 per format, so if you want to do only SPL or only SQ it will be $25. If you want to compete in both SQ and SPL it will be $40. This is a single point sanctioned IASCA event for SQ competitors.

 

I can't come out to compete this year but I'll be at the Kamloops comp and since I live in Sparwood I will for sure be at the Creston show. I might even have my system redone in time to enter Creston.

 

definitely come by and check it out, its always good to see ahead of time what the competition is like and maybe your learn something new and can apply it during your build. Is your car SQ or SPL?

 

It was a little of both. Gf packed stuff in the truck unplugged and shorted the speaker leads on the one amp with groceries and then proceeded to drive home with the sound system cranked. As she pulled up I noticed smoke coming out the passengerside window. For now I think I'm just going to put my Kicker subs back in and power them with an onyx 1500. Do you know anyone that can fix a db drive pd 2000d amp?

 

there are 2 electronic repair shops in Kamloops, Giddens and Electronics Unlimited which are both reputable. Here are there numbers if you want to call them. Giddens 250 372 8842 Electronics Unlimited 250 372 5166 both shops are open Monday-Friday only.

 

Cool thanks. If I can get an extra day off I'll stop in after the show and see what they can doo for me. Looks like I might be able to go to the Coquitlam show as well! It sure would be nice if I could.

 

is there any results from this show. Im curious to see how loud IT Hz car went as well as all the other cars as well?

 

The car is still being built, loudest score of the day was 151.? can't remember the exact number though it was from Team Western Insanity (Will) It was a fun show with 23 contestants. Next year will be better.
