I don't think this is the place for this.. if you have to come and bash the organization that is throwing an event on the same day to try to get a better turn-out for yourself - then to me, that obviously makes up my mind on the show I want to goto.

Hey not ring to bash anybody just have some issues with another orginazation but your right its not the place...what I can say is the iasca show will be Fun as Hell. So please come down and give it a shot. I am testing the waters with this show for the CAn-Am Slam 2005. With AudioThunder not happening anymore this could be the largest show in our region. 3x TKE IDBL and SQ CAn Am Slam 2005 Get ready now!!!!

For Can-Am slam 2005 make sure you get in touch with Moe.. him and several other people are huge supporters and assets to the canadian competition scene.. make sure you get thier support and help (just a suggestion to make it as big as possible)..

Yup, Moe will be a part of the Can_Am Slam. For me to throw a db drag event down here it cost $500.00 for a judge to come out and do the show I pay for trophies (another 500.00) and te Judges take ALL the entry fee's So why the hell in the world would I do this. The show this weekend cost me 600.00 for the trophies, so you hope with a 25.00 entry fee you can make your money back and Hopefully have enough to give your guys that are helping out a little somthing. Putting on a show aint cheap. MAybe now you can Understand where I come from. I'm no newbie to putting on a show. I used to throw the largest 2x and 3x db drag events. It aint worth my time supporting a league that dont support its retail members. Theres one money issue, Heres another one Wayne Harris sold me a calibrator for 2000.00 so I could not worry about having one shipped in, come to find out 2 weeks later The NEw termlab was released and the calibrator was useless. To make a short of it I got ripped for 2 gs. Still hav the thing here collecting dust. Then you pay for a retail membership and cant hold a single pointer Bull****!!! Think about it if this happens to you up there (sombody else said it) Db drag would FALL apart!!! Thats why i put forth my efforts in IDBL and SQ Iasca is for the Shop Owner and Competitors. Db Drag is for WAYNE HARRIS. Theres proof in the pudding, over 10 major manufactures pulled out of Db drags in 2004 and stopped sponsoring competitors. The manufactures realized that sponsoring people did nothing for them, and hurt the Industry How can I say this, Remember I have a shop and I talk to the manufactures weekly. None of you guys are Independently wealthy or sponsored by a major manufacturer, So come compete where you CAN, and be Competitive Iasca. Hope to see you ALL Sunday. **** who knows maybe Wayne will show up and Give me my 2 grand back.

So as you see from my point of view.....Db drag is still cool in CANADA.....But if your me in NY you BETTER have a JAR of VASOLINE!!!

For the record I dont "Bash" any people in Db Drag, I have had ties with alot of competitors, especially being so close to the border. My problem lies with Db Drag.
