2x dbdrag/cspl finals - Sept 9 - Barrie, ON
well I attended the event, and wasn't sure what to expect, being my first...
wasn't nothing special but will go to an event again, not sure what i expected, seemed to be alot of people hiding there gear, not showing it off.
anyways congrats to the winner, and expect to see me at other shows, i need to sweep my car, see where it performs best.

was it raining up there?
Every show I went to canadians always had thier stuff out in the open.
I know I got done with the Yukon about 1:30am and was getting up at 6 to head up. But during the night we had alot of rain and it cut power so I never got up in time to make it there.

arrived around 1pm'ish, nothing being tested, 90% of the cars were closed up tight...
some had there trunks popped but lowered...
I headed towards the harley truck, to see what was going on but got distracted, and turned around.
only vendor I saw was pasmag, the termlab table, and of course the stereo shop...
curious spl combs, don't care much about the bling factor, saw cars with tin foil, plastic pipe, etc...
forgive my ignorance

the tin foil helps reflex some airpressure where there is usually voids like screw holes etc, the pcv tubing is a quick way of making ports round, in smaller cars in street classes completely rounded are aero ports for the air to come out of the box.
I think around 1 they were still on a break.

definately another great show, theres not much to "show off" as most installs are uglier than a manhandled redheaded step-child... as for "hiding" equipment, i've never run into that, all you really need to do is go up to the owner and ask to see what they've got.
I came away with some new ideas for next season and the usual support from the regulars, time to tear it down and start again
beginning of season: 132.1
end of season 147.5
Thanks for a great season
