This was 1 of the best shows I have attended in a long time. Just want to give out my congrats to everyone it was great to see some good battles in alot of classes. This show brought everyone together from everywhere and the team work I seen this week brings back memories of our past Canadian Team. Just want to give props to Yuli and Team Northern Spl for setting new Canadian records and also Team Altec Adam and his team what a bunch of BBBBIIIGGG BBBBOOOYYYSS lol. P.s ok Richard i have to give you props to for putting on a great show.
P.S Congrats to all my Boys running AMERICAN BASS thanks for the Team pic.
Last but not Least I want to give Mad props to Frank Barlow Team Downtownsounds with a great come back to the sport after 5 years. Just to let people know he started out this year with 140's and today hit 154.5 in stc.

this is the first time that I've ever heard that competitors were locking up their cars. I was there competing and I've been doing it all season and believe you when I tell you that no one has ever hidden their setup from me or from anyone else for that matter. All you gotta do is ask and practically everyone will even explain their setup to you. This isn't the U.S. where some(not all) guys will not show you their setup.
On a different note, awesome show yesterday. Hats off to Richard Wade, Chris and Mel Barlcay and Prolifik for his end of year awards. I had a blast. With this being my first full year I learned alot from people, met new friends which I know will last long after my spl years are done. Cheers.

Well,, I for one don't usually lock up my vehicle at a show,, but my truck is for show, so it's opened up,, but I don't leave anything that someone can just take.
I would say if someone has their audio car locked up is because they may not want you to know their sub box design.
Other than that, I think they wouldn't want stuff to go missing:
On the other hand,, at a recent show or shows, a team mate of mine, one of his amps was tampered with, as in one of the amps gains was turned down.
The hatch of the car was left open and no one was around and lots of people checking the system out.
So, locking up vehicles may become more common at future shows.

And another note about box design:
If you have a design that is giving you the edge, and it is legal,, then it should stay your secret.
If you break a record, or set a new high score, and your car is audited and passed, then the judge should be bound not to reveal your design.
