But on the note of team shadow alts I wasnt too impressed with mine either to be honest. Really wasnt anything too special for the money I paid and after all that cost I was charged for an additional wiring harness and tax on top which was another $100. Kinda ridiculous. I bought a 300 amp alt with adjustable external regulator from excessive amperage for $30-40 more shipped which actually did 300 amps not the negligable 200 amps that the team shadow alt did.

haha that was going to the georges show to start off the 06 season at the end of april and best part about it was he didnt even fry his fuel pump. He just ran so low on gas that when he was going up or down one of the big hills the car died. Put more gas in and it was fine I think.

No he doesn't... He buys all the parts and then builds the alt's. The only thing original is the housing, nothing else.

When I bought mine from Robert I was quoted $450 for it, then when I went to pick it up he informed me he wanted to charge full tax which was another $50ish (which isnt really that big of a deal because we all know Robert likes to play by the rules, nothin wrong with that) but he then wanted another $30 for the harness of my alt...was no fancy conversion harness just a simple plastic plug and 3 wire GM harness. Then he didnt have the correct pulley for me to install it, so had I not had one of my own Im sure he would have sold me a new pulley too. This is for a team WCES member aswell who went to every competition the year before. And got the same price as a normal person off the street. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth. As did the voltage drop I was getting at idle when my electric fans would turn on.
I wouldnt recommend their alts to anyone looking for high output. Infact Im going to be sending my Team Shadow alt into another manufacturer to be rebuilt to 300 amp and setup for adjustable external regulator and they will hopefully tell me how well it was built to begin with and how similar it is the their 200 amp version. Ill only buy XS power alts by powermaster from now on or another smaller company called Mechman built by an SPLer in the US.

this is true...although its the same alts that Rob VO builds and his are cheaper, and have no unmentioned hidden fees.
