The last part of this statement, while impressive to some, would only be impressive to me if it actually sounds good too. Far too many I have found north of the US border are just into how loud and annoying can I make it. That is just not me. Now if it sounds good and blends with the rest of the setup then I am very interested. I keep waiting for something that tells me I don't have to constantly go into the deep US to get a listen to some top notch vehicle sound systems. I am really hoping to get to hear the likes of Dynaudio, Scanspeak, Morel, Micro Precision, Genesis, TRU tech., HAT and I could go on for brands that are impossible to hear up here apparently. I know that what I have isn't 100% doing it for me so I want to know what other companies bring to the table.

Is the car show going Sunday as well or is it over before this sound off? I am only coming over for the Sunday. I will try to get out of here early to hopefully get into Creston by around 10am or so. Ya never know, maybe I will through my vehicle into the show too but I doubt it. I am just not happy with the way it is sounding right now. I do think I finally got the time alignment on the front stage done but the group delay still needs work. Maybe someone will have an idea as to what is causi ng the dip in my sub response right at around 60 Hz. It is really puzlling me.

What kind of equipment for sq judging will there be at this event anyways? Will there be suggestions offered and rtaing done at this event? If there is that in itself might be enough for me to enter in my vehicle. I would love an rta plot of my response. I have a computer calibrated mic setup but don't 100% trust it. The install isn't the prettiest by any means either.

I know James your not an SPL guy, but when you get a bug for loud, it is a little addicting.
Two 15's in anything sounds just plain annoying, I concure.

The car show is in the same park as the soundoff on the same day. The SQ is judged with a points sheet, and involves, Install and appearance as well as SQ. The judge is certified, and he does most of the judging by ear...
I am out for the night....I am pretty busy tomorrow, so I will see you all Sunday.

its not the size of the sub that makes them annoying .its that at 150 db things get crazy, cabin gain becomes more of a problem and the entire vehicle begins to break apart ,keeping the rattles under control with out modifying everything gets tricky

We will be holding a show in Kamloops in Aug 2013. I'll have the info posted well in advance.
