It's actually further. About 3.5 hours to Kelowna, or Kamloops. I can get to Seattle in about 2. It's a nice drive through the Okanagon though. Joe, you can make it past the 604 area code! You can do it!!

 

Most of the drive is awesome. The smooth roads make you feel like you're flying (no bumps, no road noise, just smooooooooth)... then at other times you got those roads where it just sucks.. btw if you're going make sure you don't roll down your window till at least half an hour in and turn on circulating air unless you like the cow manuer smell for 20 minutes.

took me 4 times to learn where the hell that smelly section is.
