I mean everything....what to do , not to do, how do you "compete"?

Sounds like a lotta fun...only concern I have is I don't wanna fry any of my amps, subs or my car's wiring in general just to "hit" a number.

I would appreciate everyone's ideas, comments and suggestions.....hope to be ready within two weeks or so..and there a ton of guys who surf thru here who either work for a local shop or hold an event. So you're feedback is appreciated, and you are more than welcome to email me with anything you wish to add.

There's a db drag and an IASCA event in Edmonton on August 9th. It would be you best start because Ray is the god father of spl...check it out.

If you want to do SQi in IASCA, GIVE UP NOW!. I beat up mini steve and blue benz pretty bad for showing up in Red Deer. JJ

Do you want to do SPL or SQ. SQ had install as part of it too.

trying to do a burp is your first order of business. you really should tke it into a shop and find your sweet spot and go for it. they should be able to set you up with your note, and then burp it and that note and loudness. good luck

Arc, your best bet is to goto a couple comps and look at similar cars in your class and see what their doing... and how their doing it... I should be at the cruise friday so if you have any questions let me know.. (got the deck installed yet?)

See this is the thing. I have been to a ton of comps, and have seen a lot of other vehicles like mine that were in the lanes competing. But, I know squat about how you tune your system to compete and how you hit such high numbers for spl and sq. All I have seen is the installs, and not much more after that.

RW, I will probably pick your brain alot Friday, and yes, the deck is in. So is the power, ground, and rca wiring. Next up is finishing the deadening and making the amp rack. Subwoofers will be coming soon, and I have a cheap Pioneer to use until they show.

See you Friday...will be running a bit late due to work issues. Prob about 9 or so.

i spent like a year just gettin my a$$ handed to me before i started at least placing, it was almost 2 before i actually won one lol
