Hmm a chance to movie back to Kelowna... not unless I am making that $45K a year [img]tongue.gif[/img] that is the reason I had to movie to Calgary just not enough work in my field.

both my installers made over 45k last year, and only worked 5 days a week to do it, and got every long weekend off, full benefits after 3 months, and a pop machine full of beer in the install bay

hmmmmmm makes me wish i had a lil more (k alot more) experience i think id be all over that kinda job... and the hot chicks in BC is just an added bonus....

Sorry Dave, this is just not an option for my family at this time.

While my wife is on Maternity now, I can't confidently see her making her wage out there.

I appreciate the help/info though.

What is the cost of living like out there? I make over 45K now and if the cost of living wasn't huge I could see myself moving.

LOl a machine full of beer is not a good way to get stuff done on a hot Kelowna day [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img] I did enjoy it there growing up but now the cost of living is as bad as Calgary

I would love a job as an installer unfortunatly not enough experiance fabricating for a job like this. The electronics would be a since since that is what my degree is in but I have only built a couple mid-high systems. I can say is a good place though and I have known people who have worked there in the past. BTW is Kevin still around or is he long since gone?

kevin's still around and lookin for for someone to share the shop with, ive talked to a few bc guys and will be making a trip down to vancouver to talk to all of them, hopefully someone will qualify
