Any one know how louder the new term lab mic reads than the old one

yes it varies but the idea was to get it 6 db lower. it's all in the K-factor of the mic

I've heared it can be between 4 to 6 db.

We are 9 to 10db`s down for us. It all depends on your set up and what class you are in. We even have a calabrator for the old mics to really know where we are at.

In many cases, the higher the score -- the more the "classic" system varies from the new term lab sensors.
