Ya, five more days and still no sign of my Kenwood KDC-X969 head unit 
It's at Kenwood HQ for repairs for the FOURTH time in the year and a half I've owned it (about 3-4 weeks each time)... Damn good thing all Excelon HU's come with a two year warranty... They've replaced the glides & laser assemblies, or so they've said.
At least Tom (ARA Auto Accessories in Calgary) is nice enough to give me a loaner whenever it's out... The loaner's okay, a KDC-X717, but it skips over the most minor flaws in cd's, and plays no mp3's at all
Tom asked the Kenwood rep that they replace the whole unit this time, not just try to fix it again, since it's not a cheap HU (it was their friggin' flagship model in '03!) and I own/have owned many Kenwood products over the years and never had any problems, heck, my dog thrashed a brand new speaker once, as I was installing it, and I didn't even try to get warranty...
I guess I just gotta wait and see...

we will be rolling into calgary aroung 4 saturday afternoon, we are staying at my buddies house in the sw, im sure it wouldnt take to much convincing to get him to have a swaray, consider it a fact that we will be consuming mass quantities at his place, just got word his wifes outta town, and if his brother shows up, it will be a gong show, my cell is 250-212-5213, 3 more days till mountain crest, yeeehawww

So I had a customer come to the store today and some how or another we started talking stereo's...So I had a look at his duaghter's "setup"(in more ways than one)and this guy has butchered this poor set up...
I told him about the show on Sunday and he's going to come around to have a look at us all and for me to do an on site install(well...with what little I will have to work with anyway)...Going to SOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!
