BC guys get building...what are your winter plans/upgrades?
1. 160 at 30hz wont ever happen in a car with factory interior
2. out of all the vehicles that i have seen being competative and produce great numbers in any of the classes or categories that use a 12/14v set up I have NEVER seen a JBL amp, not once. Never seen a JBL amp win anything in any of those classes. Matter of fact I have only seen one JBL powered car that produced respectable numbers. It's too bad they were in extreme class where it's 97% enclosure.

I have had a good run comparing other amps to the Crown.......
my A3000gti will eat and crap out any other 3200w rms amp down below

over 2x the rated RMS....
we can do an amp swap in my van..not a problem..in front of a crowd
or on camera..it dosn't matter
ask anyone who owns a Crown and they will tell you the same thing

when the freq dropped below 25hz....even rated at 2x the RMS
I just added a CanadianCarAudio sticker to the back window and I think the clutch shooots a little better ...VRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!
thumper were these class A/B amps you compared with your JBL? I dont see how a frequency can make one amp THAT much better than another unless the amps you are testing against are either super inefficient or you are not wiring them at their optimal loads.
JBL are good amps no doubt, but, i mean, they are not magical
that's what i was thinking too. his boxes are sick but he bigs up JBL amps.

What kinda amps were you comparing to this JBL?
What I think about JBL is this ... can they make a quality product? For the general public, yes ... and looking at this amp, probably the best of the best they offer, is it going to match up to other amps? Sure ...
But those other amps are not going to be the best of the best of those companies ... they're going to be 2nd best or 3rd best ...
JBL puts up this amp and it's all that it's got ...
So does it work and can it put up numbers? Sure.
Is it the best and everyone should start jumping on JBL? I really doubt it.
