ill be giving a prize to a rookie and a pro competitor in bc for a overall pts championship

each show attended in bc will count towords the pts champioship , 1 point per show attended , this goes for sq and spl

this will begin at the soundsgood auto show

I like the effort Luke!! hopefully more people will come on out with this type of incentive. with that being said, I was planning on getting the most points already, WITHOUT the incentive, but a little icing on the cake will do me well :)

That's funny. We were going to do something along those lines as well for the Western Finals August 21st. When will yours end? Should we do something together?

You could offer sexual favours. Or more stimulation by getting the audience more involved in the process. Maybe we could make friendly wagers to how high the db's will go on each car. Or maybe they need the anticipation of an accident like in auto racing.
People want a reason to go to these events without being intimidated by "the big boys" This happens at the shows that I have been to. 10 years ago, the drama got pretty thick and pushed many away. We need to let folks know that it has become a friendly competition out here. It's not like the east with their attitude about their greatness. It just good fun out here.

would be nice if there was more local shows around the vancouver area average traveling distance for me and will is around 5 to 6 hrs lol

i love the idea of guesing peoples db score.say before anyone goes you have to go and fill out a sheet sayign what you think everyone will hit and who ever is the closet on most wins something. love the idea of that because it will keep people there all day also

Sounds ilke a great way to give back to the sport & the people who are helping it grow more and more by getting into it.

ya 1 pt per show i gave greg the 2 pts for double show weekend in alberta for his support coming out

I see. that was a nice gesture. I just wish saskatchewan was a bit closer.....there's lots of shows there this year...

ya i hear ya seems like alberta/sask has 4x the shows we do

cartunes said they would be doing a show , hopfully tony and jeff at 604 throw somthing together , i know martys working at visions now so maybe he can work somthing out

mike wanted to say thanks to you luke for putting him in rookie. he had only gone to a couple shows, but was fully ready to continue on and lose in stock 1......very solid IMO.

no problom , i tried to make it as fair as i could , like the dc guys they had never competed before or had termlab time but at the same time had walls and modifactions that was the toughest part of classyfing anyone

I think it went well all-around. the only complaint I heard all day was from seth because he forgot to turn his subs on....I'd laugh a little harder, but I think we've all done that once or twice before....

lol ya , i remember kevin going into the semi finals last year at db drag regionals and he went to burp his car and nothing happend , his sub was uhooked

It's not over for a month yet...
there's at least 3 semi-local shows that I know of, and a few not-so local shows. anyones game.

ill be at the alberta double show weekend . the soundsgood show and the kamloops show as well as my show but i dont count lol

hopfully the last few shows have good turnouts , from what i was told yesterday , riverside has been confirmed for one of the world finals locations already its posted on the booming audio webpage so hopfully all goes well

very cool.. I wish there was this much following on west back in the days when i was competing !

the medals went out for engraving a while ago once their back they will be sent out

Luke really went out of his way on this one to try to get more interest in shows. hopefully we'll see bigger and better shows in the years to come

I did what I could , congrats on your results and numbers you had a fantastic year , i think we had a pretty solid year out west for what we had for shows we made do pretty well !
