Big Show In Kelowna June 13
Wow, 70 cars. Nice job! Sounds like one of the biggest shows in BC in years. I wish I was going Is that thing about the perf. metal under the carpet true? USAC or IASCA? If so, that's getting insane. Might as well require welded stainless steel boxes under the car but above the frame rails and mechanically ventilated too
I hear there is supposed to be a huge car show in Penticton Saturday and Sunday along the waterfront. My brother-in-law in Summerland (works in Penticton) called me and has seen tons of gorgeous classics and even some high end exotics around town. ie... Lambo Diablo's, Calloway's, Saleens, Yenke, Ferraris, RollsRoyce etc....
BTW See ya tomorrow night at the store. What time are you guys all gonna be there until?
I have to pass through Kelowna to Summerland to drop off my wife at her brothers and then I'll be back to K town.
Crossing my fingers all the po-po/5.0 are having donuts while I pass through towns on the way there. They absolutely LOVE sending my *** to the VI, decaled or not.

Kudos to the guys running the show.
staff, yeah and the Mic judge too. Alhtough I think he was biased? Tim, The pizza guy had good pizza, beers were cold.
Great show Dave, but you really need a taller tent.
Excellent idea with the video camera on the Db readout using the TV as a dispaly board. Actually liked being able to see if I went up or down.
Just got in. The emrg ward was SLOOOOOW, so it didnt take long.
Out of 4 subs when I started 1 was already shot and took another out in qualifying. Guess PG stuff doesnt work on a Mmats 1400.5?
Thanks for the subwoofer Dave. My kid has kudos on it already.
Cant wait for Okanogan Thunder 2005!!
Good to see you guys, Peter, Pat and family and other I forget the names.

i would like to thank everyone who helped make this show a sucess, patrick and team shadow as well as ll the other wces guys, you guys are stellat, tim turbull for alpine for sq judging, john batkowiak for aralex acoustics(concept car audio), bob mcniel(kenwood and concept). lief angrignon(phoenix gold), bong ng(avi owner), lengirling(monster cable), scott trotter(staub electronics) end especially all the guy that came from all over to help support the show, without all of you guys there is no show, with the exception of some mic cord issues the show went off smoothly and with 62 cars competeing in both sq and spl we pulled it off in 6 hours, including all the give aways and so on, i will do my best to post all the winners names and scores today, special thanks to ryan for wces for running the crs through, 150.6 with one pg titanium 15" and 1 pg x1200.2, and we fired it together 2 days before the show, lets see some pics

Other than Dave backing into my car, all was fun. Very good turnout, both on the sq side as well as the spl side. A TON of free swag was given away! And not just license plate trim rings and t-shirts either. We are talking real swag. Subs, Component sets, co-ax's, Caps, underbody lighting kits, alarms and alot more stuff.
Thanx Dave for hosting a wicked show.
