I am friends with both organizers aswell, however I am A DBDRAGGER not Iasca.... I do the occasional Iasca event but its not my preference, not to mention I prefer SANCTIONED events. Also being a DEAFTRAPS makes me lean towards where the rest the boys are gonna be.

Ditto. for the First time in 3 years, we are actually trying to make world finals somewhere, and db drag has had, BY FAR, the most shows over bc this year compared to any other sanction. Thus, gathering points for worlds is MUCH easier to do when there is more sanctioned shows to get to. My decision is not based on who I like more, but rather how it will benifit me as a competitor. If there is a chance at another certification, and double points less than 5 hours away from me, I'm going to make damn sure I am gonna be there. if there was only an Iasca show that date in kamloops, then I probably wouldn't make the journey anyways, with the way the price of gas has skyrocketed and such. IMO, this 2 event date, will do nothing but PROMOTE sound-offs, as it gives a person 2 different options in the same town, at the same time. There is nothing wrong with a little healthy compitition, If there was, everyone would be pissed off everytime superstore had a sale when safeway didn't. Sorry so long, but, SPL is SPL no matter what sanction it is, I hold no grudges, and play no favorites.

There is no politics, the shop owner's want to do a show, Andre's is not holding ANY sanctioned shows. A dealer is committing huge resources to this show, big prizes, got large corporate sponsers...they deserve it. I run shows, I do not choose dates etc. Retailers hire us...by the way we announced our show list 2 months before Andre's. Yes this show is replacing the Western Canada Finals, formally held by Andre's. They might me holding their show, but as far as I know.

Paradise's Parking lot is in the rear of the building, it can hold 87 cars with overflow for 60 more...it just depends on how many people hang out at the beer garden, it might block the lanes!!!

This is the first time, a dealer is holding such a huge show for Car Audio. There is a HUGE car show the night before, and awesome soundoff the next day...this is going to be a freakin' HUGE show!!!!
