Well if it's a small town, Places like IGA's or other smaller independatly owned Stores work.

Pretty much anywhere where they might make even 1$ extra then if the show was not there.

We had a show in Blairmore in a IGA parking lot. I must have pent 20$ there myself. Multiply that by say 10 people and thats 200$. Ask around.

Talk to other car clubs, Also shows woth charity's involved work.

Is it at all possible to host shows at a school, such as a primary school parking lot?

Would you need their permission? You could come and go before they know lol...correct?

Anyone have success with this?

i dont think u gonna get anymore usefull info here. the way it normally works is that u find a couple places that look descnet for a show and u go and ask them what they think? like even a movie theater or a school. i doubt u can just occupy their property without any permision.
althought there are some HUGE parking lots, like in richmond hill, that are between a highway bridge and train tracks that no one ever uses or parks in and u can play your stereo there as loud as u want, no one will hear u.
Silvercity richmond hill parking lot is so huge that i have never seen it being filled more than half. it goes into a dead end with no residential area around.
