If you don't encourage people to come that are experienced from this board, then waht's the point?

I have a question though. Why are you so against world finalists?
Wouldn't it help you out if you had a class for the higher level of competitors, if only to show off a bit and let the "little guy" know what is possible with enough work? (and, of course, better equipment)

There are a lot of amateur hard hitters that can prove to you less experienced guys it is possible to hit 150. I just want to give the average customer with a 600 watt Kenwood or 1000 watt memphis a chance.
Richard, I understand that you are trying to grow the sport. I understand that amateurs get discouraged by heavy hitters. People tend to get louder by help from the louder. By allowing the hard hitters to compete in a seperate class, they will be there to help the amateurs when needed. I remember when I first started out, Cecco and Yuli answered any questions that I had. They never steered me wrong in any way. I have witnessed them time and time again do the same for others. Unless you plan on getting these amateurs louder... B.Y.O.F.E. ( Bring Your Own Fire Extinguisher ) Dude, I have seen your $hit catch fire.
What happens if an amateur becomes loud? Are you going to stop them from continuing in your league? Are you going to ask them who they know? Are you doing this for the sport... or... are you doing this for you?

The only way to learn is from the heavy hitters.

I would love to cater to everyone but as you are aware alot of amateurs are too shy to compete because they are afraid to lose. There are more amateurs than pros. If a pro wants to compete there are DB Drag and IASCA shows for them. Lets keep the local small town shows for the Amateurs.
