Well since I'm droping to about 14.5 volts from 17 and a wee bit while I burp I'm guessing about 2800-3000 rms or so into each coil.

There was no smoke, neither amp or subwoofer.

I went from burping 155's to a 151...

After a little searching I found the problem...

Anymore guesses?

you had more of the heat shrink on the tinsile leads melt off?

or the foam inulation you put on the basket to keep the leads from shorting on the basket fell off.
