can we have another show?
Now it wouldn't be fair if I took a break by not going and "let" someone else win for a chance..You'd honestly be okay with only beating a girl because she didn't show? I'm surprised you guys didn't try harder to hit a better number than me this past season. A girl beat you....geeze.
lol.
P.S. This post obvioulsy isn't meant for the big boys who have invested MUCH more time and money into their cars than I have....I'm just poking fun at the other newbies.

so all you guys that want a show why dont you set one up?
this is the problem with people in Ontario, everyone wants a show but no one wants to put in the effort.
go to your nearest community center/hockey arena/fair ground/etc. and ask them what would it take to have a stereo competition on their property.
you can even go to your local best buy, futureshop or Canadian tire and ask if you could use their parking lot for a stereo competition.
if none of those work, approach your local stereo shops.
once you have a place and a date locked (date must be at least 3 weeks in advance), start working on promoting this event. Make some flyers, give them away to your friends, stereo shops, leave them at hang out spots and put them on cars at your local movie theater on friday and saturday nites.
dont forget to have an effective online promotion for your event so all the people who are not from your area are aware and interested in attending.
makesure you have a meter or that you source one out. If not, find someone with a meter and find out how much they would want for running your event.
once you have all that done, you can start working on trophies and prizes. figure out how many trophies you will need, what sizes you want and how much all of it will cost. find a place that will make them for you and place your order.
approach your local shops to see if any one them want to sponsor you for any prizes or raffle give aways.
these are just the general and basic steps to organizing an event. but as you can tell it's very easy to do, anyone can do it. Justin, now I expect you to do a show. You should have plenty of time to do all this with the xmas holidays and reading week off school and all that. Do it up.
