obviulsly all of them :dunno:

defro13 08-04-2009 01:19 AM

not too sure why it was so obvious but anyways.....there will be a canadian champion crowned in iasca sqc(sound quality) in the rookie, amatuer and professional class......as for all the other sanctioning bodies and classed....dunno......

Father Yuli 08-04-2009 01:37 AM

where is there?

icebird88 08-04-2009 01:39 AM

Guys and Girls.

IASCA FINALS ARE being held in two different cities on back to back weekends,

First show is in Penticton B.C on Aug 23rd. At this show we will crown Western IASCA champions in all classes.

Second show is in whitby, On on Aug 30th. At this show we will crown the EASTERN IASCA champions in all classes. ALSO at this show we will announce the over all CDN champions in SQC and IDBL. We are able to do this because the same meter will be used at both shows and the same SQ judges will be used at both shows. During the awards ceremony I will be posting live results here on CCA who the winners are so that my friends out West can tune in and join the ceremony to see if they are the overall champion .

That being said I am looking for a volunteer to help me do this via live web cam. If I could find away or someone to help me do it this way it would be much more effective then doing the old fashion way.

Hope that helps

Eastern canadian db drag championships on Aug 23 have been moved to barrie ontario at Odessey. Reason being unique visions has closed their doors. Keep your eye out for the official announcement later this week.

Why not combine the two shows on the 30th & have the mother of all shows?

sx4life 08-04-2009 01:46 PM

Agreed as that's wut we doin in penticton! Only prob I see is it a lot to cram in one show for oneday!

PsychoAcoustics Canada 08-04-2009 01:57 PM

We wanted to but things didn't work out

The plan was to hold both shows together. Iasca decided on their own to move the show to the 30th. Plans were already in place to have the show on the 23rd and that is when it will be.

icebird88 08-04-2009 02:45 PM

Its not like IASCA turned down Don, flat out. I already had the 23rd show booked along time ago for the IASCA Western Championships.

Don and I are in talks about the next season already, plus the possibility of having a 3x event back in Orangeville in late Sept of this year.

PsychoAcoustics Canada 08-04-2009 03:56 PM

Yep yep. Jason, Mike and I are working on big things.

Actually the plan was to have an east against west showdown on the 23rd. That is why I agreed to sponsor it. Then the Iasca show was moved to the 30th of August and we were unable to do the same.

PsychoAcoustics Canada 08-04-2009 04:34 PM

Although the E vs W can't happen live it'll still be a showdown of sorts having both shows on the same day.

Father Yuli 08-04-2009 05:45 PM

and west will go down in flames, sort of like the ships at Pearl Harbour

Green Hornet 08-04-2009 07:02 PM

Right on cue, there's yuli stirring the pot! Lol.

maybe, but you will also get the benifit of having an extra week to test and beat any scores that were posted out west........not quite the same, or as challenging as having east/west all at the same time

PsychoAcoustics Canada 08-04-2009 09:11 PM

maybe for iasca, but db drag is happening the same day

A week of testing. Like that's gonna make a difference. Tell ya what. I'll post what, even if the east was to post what numbers they'd be doing the west still wouldn't have a chance in hell of beating them.:stroke:

yes, was obvioulsy talking about iasca....

a week is alot of time if you are within a few decimal points. esecially with Iasca, where the rules have a little more flex than db drag.....

I know you think us westerners are quiet, but there are a few old timers here on the western side that are loud as well.

Dale, clay, james, rob vo, mike and mark, dustin, and there are others in the wood-work that still have time to qualify for this and have proven loud. There could also be a couple underdogs surprising everyone this year.

west has got some loud guys, and actually, it's a pretty good ration of loud guys/population compared to out east.

sx4life 08-05-2009 08:41 PM

sadly I dont make that list as I am quiet:(
Hmm maybe I should get a TFone that would make me loud right>>?

Watts up? 08-05-2009 11:20 PM

Watts up guys?

I know of 4 other vehicles that are 150dB to 160dB easy and more that I try to get to come out to shows all the time. Majority of loud guys out west are pure low note(under 50hz) ground pounders that would be either extreme or SS.

Eastern vehicles compete more and western ones alot don't, and I am trying to get them to come on out.

sx4life 08-06-2009 10:46 AM

Yuli gimme a sub:p
Hahaha 150 here I come LOL
