A friend and I are thinking about giving bass race a try at this show.
Will there be alot of people in the 149.9 and 159.9 classes?

Any recomendations on songs?

bassrace is an average score over 30 sec. with music, those higher classes are alot harder to do

I'm not sure yet if I can hit the 49.9 mark as I haven even tried finding a song yet, but playing some bass tracks ( pretty low note for a wall car) I have been able to sustain a 148.x
hopefully I will have time after work to get some time in on the meter.

As far as the 59.9 class, I know he cant hit the 59.9 mark but he is quite a bit louder than I am so he should be into the 50's somewhere, we are going to meter his civic tonight and see where it sits. I just wasent sure if there is going to be many in that class or if it was worth him giving it a try, just based on his highest score possible.

I have the prediction that you will be shocked at how low his bass-race score actually is once you get to the show. I would suspect that he will end up in the 139.9 class but thats just a guess I could be wrong

its possble, he is walled with 4 stroker 18's in a civic. I am gonna put him on the T/L tonight and we will find out for sure.

I've thought about trying bass race for a while it seems like it should be fun
although, i'm sure I will suck my first time, lol

I've done high 153s in bass race several times ...
it's not as easy as it looks and quite damaging on pretty much everything at that level ...
you gotta find a song that is very consistant and be quick on the start ... bad start = shitty score ...

bass race or db drags?.
I know I cant do it, and he likey wont but were gonna give it a try tonight.
his biggest problem is the electrical, he needs more battery so I dont think he will be able to maintain that high of a score either, but we are hopefull. I know it is deffinatly better suited for a lower class though.
neither of us has tried it before so it is a LONG shot, lol
