What type of amps are the noobs using. The judges will have the final say as per Don and Mike. For example, a sony 2000watt amp does not put out 2000watts. Just come to the show and the judges will decide as they both very very knowledgeable and will make the calls on the amps. All you gotta do is show up and ask them beforehand.

ok i got a question. i saw this thread start with 1200 for the noob challenge and then its being bumped up to 2000, which i think is a little lame but whatever, run what you brung i guess. i'm just wondering, is this 2000 max? or 2000 rms? or hopefully 1200 max or maybe 1200 rms. or are we really all going to have to get checked out by the judges and let them class us?
