Thanks to the above...
I know that there will be at least 7-10 guys locally, and I still have not heard anything from Alberta, Cranbrook, or Castlegar.... I know that it is early, but I want people to have time to take it off and get there buts out to have some fun.
I am almost positive my team-mate kyle will be comming along with his cavilier / wall. We are starting his build this week & will have it finished end of the month. He is planning to attend both shows on the lower mainland right now & i know for sure he is planning to take the time off for the creston show as it is the biggest one in B.C that has popped up so far.

Gurentee myself, But if you wanna go on about a 99% positive gurentee then you can also count him in aswell.

Thease are the classes i am able to compete in :

IASCA : Advanced no wall 2 / Advanced 2

USACI : Amateur 5000

DB drag : Superstreet 1 / 2 / SSNW

EDIT : date is still the same right ? Also i am worried i wll not have my memberships by the competition, Being new i still want to be able to record my scores & have it be all official. I probably wont win or do very well but i still would like to get into it right and have everything recorded official

I am still semi-unsure of what classes i can compete in as this is my first year and the rules are a bit hard to understand for me as to what classes i fit into for thease differant formats of competing. Luke99 helped me out with the list above !
(again thanks to him, He is my yoda)

Nice we will see a big blazer there ! Also cool to see i wont be the only person running 10k+ rms / more than 1 alt. In the okanagan here people have a hard time beliving what is in my jimmy when i tell them unless i actually show them. The car audio scene here is HORRID.

Has anybody seen the facebook page for the andre's in kamloops ? Those guys are very unprofesional... They act like teenagers & say very disrespectfull things about other shops & act like they are the best in their trade.. Compared to most shops in the states they would make andre's look like a joke.

I have to tell you, Dave(and andre) has been very good to the 12 volt industry, but putting on many massive shows over the past few years. They have some of the best deals around, and Dave actually helped me get to world finals, eventhough he knows I am sponsored by his direct compitition and had none of his equipment in the car. he has gone way out of his way to help alot of people, and asked nothing in return. I will say that he will tell you what he thinks of you, but that's pretty much who he is. When I first met him, I thought he was an arrogant *****, but I've looked at all the things he's done to help me and my team, and I can easily look past his faults.

Yeah, Thats great and all but it doesnt change how unprofessional their attitude's are concerning their outlooks on any other installers but themselfs. I think they really need to tone that down. Like i said, Put them in the mix with shops from the southern parts of the states & i really think andre's would look like amatuer's compared to most of them.

This is why i think it is very arrogent of them to act like they are the kings of their trade / put down people for having "N" stickers on their cars or L's and doing installs. What is up with that ? I have nothing to do with them, Never have. But just browsing their facebook page made me pretty glad that i dont.

Just my opinion, & I really dont think their attitude is condusive to helping this sport flourish & look good.

Anyways, Thats just my 2 cents, Not trying to start anything here. But i think that for a country that needs help getting this "sport" to flourish their attitudes are anything but condusive to that.

You think them putting down anybody who trys to get a job @ visions and work as an installer just because they have an N or L on their car is good for people trying to learn ?

Maybe they need to stop trying to act like they are the best & bring their heads back down from the clouds... Because its that kind of crap that will turn off possible young installers from pursueing their dream & make it hard for them to get jobs @ competing stores.

I would go read their facebook & think about the better of the "sport" rather than just looking at what hes done for you, Then maybe you will see that their attitudes arnt very great.

all I see is banter...prices are better than visions. installers have YEARS of experience....the head guy at visions got fired from andre's cause he didn't cut it there. I have seen installs from both places and I gotta agree with andre's. and not to mention when I was there in aprilr, visions had booked an appointment with a person from logan lake(an hour drive) and when he got into town they said oh sorry we can't do the install today, but buy our gear, and here you need a cap and a full 20 feet zero gauge wiring kit to install 2 10's in a cobalt....the battery is in the trunk in a cobalt......so needless to say, ******, sold them a BETTER system, for CHEAPER($300 cheaper btw), and installed it on the spot without an appointment.....you tell me where you'd rather go????

also Andre's has done ALOT for MANY competitors in the past years......Visions has done pretty much squat except sell gear at 10% below retail prices....

Dave got kicked off the forum because of his antics, but I gotta say, Andre's knows what theyre doing....they keep opening new stores, and staying in business for some reason.
