He's right on the money with that statement. I may consistantly place 1st or second in cspl, but i place 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th in db drag. I dont take it personally, thats why its called a competition. Take the competative edge away and its not a competition anymore. If back when i first started, there werent any of big loud guys around, i probably wouldnt have kept competing. Yuli handed me my ***, then gave me props for trying and helped me out to get louder. Its guys like him that NEED to be at the smaller shows to get the new guys interested and enthuastic about competing. I dont think ive EVER seen a new guy get a cold shoulder from yuli, les, or any of the other very loud guys at any of the smaller shows. You need to look at it differently guys. Sure you might not win all the time, but if you did would it be fun? And if us "db draggers" werent allowed in cspl how would the new guys know what to do to get louder?

I think that Richard is bang on with his classes. I have to drive minimum 2.5 hours to get to shows, and I have no problem with the big DB Drag guys beating me. Its all about the experience, and what you learn. And to say that you shouldn't be able to compete in two different leagues on the same day is unfair to someone like me who puts in a lot of effort to get to shows. I want to get as much mic time as I can so I can LEARN what my system needs to get better.

you guys want to see what a true noob is look at my scores from last year. I thought I had such a loud system. I went to checco's first show last year and barely broke a 140. I was so embarrassed. I could have stopped but I said "No way". I kept on going, meeting people who were in the sport getting tips. Check my cspl scores from last year. I got fed my food but I didn't stop. I hooked up with citrate, willcann, prolifik and les. Citrate and Willcann helped me build a box and at cspl finals I broke a 145 which was amazing. Not settling for that score I picked up some subs from Prolifik and was able to hit a 147.6 for the feb11 show. Wanting more Prolifik (ma nizzle) helped me build a better box and look at my numbers now. For cspl i run a 1000watt amp but I hit 149.9. In db drag my highest number hit so far was 151.6 and Prolifik can vouch for that cause he helped me hit that number. If you sit on your computer and whine on threads like this then you will be #2 but if you come to the shows like I did and have guys like Prolifik, Willcann, Citrate and Les(in no particular order) give you advice then you will get LOUD. I owe my highest number this year to Prolifik!!! Hats off to you ma nizzle . Yo cav, come to the shows and learn mang, that's the only way you"re gonna get loud. Yea you might only have a 1500watt amp(this is an example) but let me tell you this, you will be loud with that amp and the right box in your ride. I am proof of that. No one will ever not give you advice if you ask for it and that's a fact. One thing I've learned about this sport is that not only are we competitors, but we are a family as well. Shout out to Prolifik, Willcann, Citrate, and Les y'all ma nizzles mang.

I totally agrre but the only way I way will get louder with the equiptment I have is if I get a bigger altenator add more runs of 0awg and a seconde battery then I will break a 150 but the way it is now my 2500d amp is sucking way too much power and I cant hit well with low voltage, plus I dont have the money like some of you or the equiptment to sit around for a couple of hours on a mic and try different things to bring my numbers up, the only time I have mic time is at competitions, so there is no point of trying until I get some more stuff
