It would be against the rules if he is adding to the existing floor, but since he is replacing it as close to OEM as he can (for a case of beer) then it should be fine.

I try to get the RexRam welded with sheet metal from another Honda (OEM as possible) if it makes anyone feel any better

I'm not trying to circumvent any rules with this car, too much at stake for that, and for for those guys that do try to cheat.
We gonna build this car to DB Drag spec with the option of going to shows and get some trophy's for fun, then sell the trophy's to Tommy for beer money
That's why we doing this, for fun, ya know we ain't gonna touch Jame's Rex or set any records and go to worlds
It is nice to see who gonna support this build and who gonna poop on it.
So far everyone has come out with tires blazing in support.

100 wings eh, yeah I think I could do that... gunna need about 4 jugs of beer though.
