The thread says it all. I blew a shock straight up thru the strut tower and there's a hole about 2 feet in diameter on the back driver side of the rex. Its gonna cost about $1000 to weld it back which I don't have. On top of that the deadening is ripped right off the strut tower. Good luck to the rest of my fellows eastern Canadians. I will not be coming to watch as it will be too painful. Sorry to disappoint anyone and thanx to all who followed team TFONE/CT SOUNDZ's threads. I have started ripping everything out of the rex. Even if I try get it welded back the car will never be as loud as it was before. So close yet so far. A hearfelt thanx to Faddah Yuli for all his help and knowledge. I learned so much from you. I don't think that I will be able to get another rex so this may be the end of spl for me. Once again, sorry to disappoint everyone and good luck to all competitors in Barrie and N.A. finals in March.

Wow, any details how it happen?
Thats definitely a cars season ending damage! Tough to fix and stay as loud.
Everyone says CRX is cheater car for spl, well that happens to these fragile 20+ year old cars and you add 155+db. Never the less a Canadian life vehicle?

Well, after lots of praying and financial backing from my TF ONE sponser the rex is back. A special thanx to Father Yuli for his resources and well as fellow TF ONE member Les for letting me use his shop from 7am this morning to redeaden the car and saving my recones. Now all I gotta do is wait for them to dry do some testing to see if they will hold up and BAM!!!!!
