Because he doesnt want to beat up on noobs in street class and scare them away from competition.
You will find the majority of seasoned competitors in the west not doing street class this year.

 

well despite the fact that i'm the noob he would be beating up on... It would be nice to have some loud street cars, i mean the street stock cars are often putting down bigger numbers then the street cars.... ha! oh well sooner then later ill be up there, im not saying ill be doing 152's but ill be damn close.

 

i look at it differently. i help the noobs and then i beat up on them. so instead of beating them by 15 db's i beat them by 5. gives them the drive to try to catch up from there. We have a good number of guys who are not veterans but are over 150.
