Edmonton audio

Anyone have any experience with installs at any of these Edmonton, AB locations: 1) "The Shop", 2) "Zimmers Audio Access", or 3) Performance North"? Pioneeer has directed me to them as suppliers/installers of the newer Premiere Models (specific to my search . . . the P800PRS).

If any alternative suppliers/installers or ways of getting my hands on this unit, much appreciated . . . .

Heh! Yeah, a bit off-timing there.

I did speak with Ray. He indicated that FX Audio doesn't handle the Premiere line.

Since this post I've found that "Performance North" is a wholesaler that supplies (amongst others) JB Automotive (retailer). So still searching for an Edmonton installer that sells the Premiere line. I suspect I'll purchase the unit separately and take to Ray and Co for the install.

Dix is the wholesale division of JB Power, they are one and the same company.

I live out in the stick in rural East-Central AB. Tuner performance (re: sensitivity) is of equal importance to the digital conversion system. Beyond just the excellent spec for both AM and FM sensitivity, the Premiere line has had a good reputation for practical tuner performance. Sat radio has it's place, but I prefer some of the excellent stations/programs available out here on the regular "dial". And that new P800PRS does just plain look good (after getting rid of that gold "Premiere" logo).

Just get an alpine deck with an imprint processor from FX instead of the 880prs.
