how come on tv when they film stuff in public for a reality show half the people have their faces blurred? don't they have to sign a waiver allowing the use of their face on tv? even nick cannon's show had people walking around with waivers for the people featured on camera, and his last name is cannon
Have you ever watched a sporting event on TV? More importantly, have you attended a sporting event that was televised, and if so, did you sign a waiver in case you are accidentally filmed? No. When one chooses to appear at or participate in a public event they voluntarily give up their expectations of privacy. This means people can freely take pictures or film you. This is different than being in a restaurant, shopping center, or even walking down the street where there is no reasonable expectation that someone may be filming or photographing you.
