What's is you're guy's opinion on sales reps??
Would anyone do it if the cash was good?? I have an offer and I don't know if I should do it. It's with a large company that has some great car audio brands and a good territory.
Anybodys thoughts?

Although I have not done that job myself, I have friends that do. Be prepared to work weekends, travel a lot, have your phone ring at any time - essentially you have to always be available.
It's alright if you are single or have an understanding wife. It would be tough with young children unless one has great day care.

you know what i think, me, i love sleeping in my own bed at night with my wife. seriously consider the amount of time that you will be on the road, your territory will be MASSIVE, and always beware the promise of greener pastures, and if you nothing else, get it in writing

The travelling isn't that bad. Between 20-30 days a year. I think that is acceptable. The writing is coming. I just think that I know I am good at what I do where I am at, mabey it's time for something different. Besides, if it sucks, I know I can get work installing again in Calgary.
