my GF though db drag racing was really stupid until i gave her a amp, sub, and custom made box one year for xmas - after hearing her new sound system in the car she got addicted too. now she interedted in the sport and is very supportive of it.
as for girls that actually compete...there was one girl from the east last year who was supposed to go to finals...and help me in street B represent canadians...but she couldn't make it....i forget her name though...

My husband installs the system and I do the shows.
I was kinda nervous the first time I competed...then I won ...and Fear was not a Factor.
He's decided to compete along with me...he really liked the show in Castlegar.
So " MaGiver" will be building a vega wagon in the near future.

This is great! When I first started, there were very few females competing. Now, Holy Cow! Awesome!!

You are what inspired some of my girls to start competing. I showed them stats and pics and they thought you were awesome . They couldn't wait to get to their first shows.
BTW I met you very briefly in Daytona at SBN when you were hanging out in your "directors" chair behind your Bronco. I heard you had a nasty fall. I hope everything is okay and on the mend.

Thanks. I am good. I broke my ankle last year in Milwaukee and should know better, but stepped off curb in Daytona and landed on my friggin' knee. Had little to do with age - but more to do with talking on phone and not paying attention.
It's exciting to see more females getting involved in competition.
You can check out the new bronco at www.teamgates.org. We will be up in Portland and Seattle for the Car Toys Tent Sales in July and first of August.

I met Alma at IASCA finals in Memphis a few years ago, awesome lady. Another female competitor who really knew her stuff was Allison Greg, she was very cool at the same finals.

we shared a few ****tails in the hotel lounge with you alma in kansas at the usac finals, the weird canadian guys who kept you up all night. you are the most prolific and influential lady that has ever graced the lanes. you have managed to do what, imo, nobody else has done for the sport of car audio
