aside from a 10 hour drive and tons of dead deer along the highway i think the finals was not bad at all.
Thanks to Moe and other iasca staff members for having an orginized show. Everything ran smooth and in timely manner. Congrats to all the guys who made it to finals, regardless if u placed or not. Jordy i know u gonna come out hard next year, same with jeff. Dave u just need some better subs, but u are already kickng azz. Keyur i knew your van had it in it. We found you like what? extra 0.7 db in less than 10 mins. I still dont know what went wrong my first run, the 151 really surprized me as i was doin more than that my my termlab righ before. i think it was due to one of the judges closing my hood shut and the multemeter still being hooked up, something must have got shorted out, either that or i loose over a db with me in the car. i knew i should have done about 152.2 on the a/c sensor. neways, some testing and tweaking of the vehicle after day one gained me another 0.8 db and on the second day the jeep produced a 153 flat to take second place. and the pics are here IASCA FINALS PICS |
Yuli what did first hit in your class?

Does this type of box actually worked?
I assume it works best in SUV's and bigger type hatch cars. http://www.canadaspl.com/showiascafi...s/DSC03538.JPG X |
Kayeur came in third place with it so it must work alright! 152.5db I think

http://www.canadaspl.com/showiascafi...s/DSC03532.JPG http://www.canadaspl.com/showiascafi...s/DSC03531.JPG " WE BROKE A WINDSHIELD!!!" After having many problems in the lanes at finals... I was able to hit over a 150 on the A/C with 2 3512's and a single 2500d orion. Keyur decided to power my car with his van which contained 2 AB 200.1's and 20 feet of speaker wire to the back of the golf. In the golf was 2 Atomic quantum 12's in the GCA Triangle box. After a couple of burps, we were seeing over 150 on the termlab without anything done.... just dropped in. Has anyone ever seen a former break in half? Or a windshield crack in street or stock? What a way to finish off the year! I cant wait til the 2005 season! Yuli, you are right buddy! I will be coming out hard. Special thanks for the finals... Team GCA Insane Hertz Team Autossey Team MTA Hope to see everyone again in the 2005 season! Go CANADA!! Thanks Yuli, and congrats! You're a great guy and an awesome competitor, it's always a blast when you're at a show.
It gave me a great feeling of pride seeing you, Jordy, Keyur, Jeff, Jim and all our "Team Canada" competitors in the lanes at Finals, I was worried that we weren't going to have the presence there like we did in years past. But you all did Team Canada proud, thank you! I sure hope to see you in the lanes next year, I have some pretty crazy stuff planned for competitors in all orgs for next year and it would be great to see you guys "carrying the torch" in 2005! |
