your amp is rated to do 1 ohm mono. your sub is a dual 2 ohm. the amp should have handled that no problem. i dont think your amp blew, i think you just poppped a fuse

 

i wish it was that simple, white smoke everywhere, i had to disconect the power line to stop the smoke. Now i gonna have run 300 rms to it for now....booooooooo!

its not a dual , its a quad 1.5 ohm

the sub was wired down to .83 ohms for both of them , but now im just gonna run the 1 with 200rms, sounds like crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!. my girl is in the states at the shop when i got the old one to see if she can get me another one for tomorrow. If not im gonna hit up a hock shop and see what i can find cheep.

 

with those coils your amp was only putting out half the power its rated to do. how did it blow up?
