Seriously though I've seen this place change ALOT, I've been a member for hell 10yrs now. I find the forum is kind of like a high school "click" or group when a few people go their ways you think everything changes when in fact its pretty much the same thing just with different people floating around. The forum was taken over by someone who had more or a Business sense of mind about it and not a more or less hobby sense of mind like in years past. I bitched as much as most when it happened, I even lost my Admin status because I didn't like change and stopped participating. But alas the info that can be found here is great, the people are still good people, they may have just moved onto other things. I never made a post in here for over a year but I have caught the car audio bug again and here I am.
But I do still blame Dukk.

What you say is true though. I see people join up, they are excited and going to do all these great things, and then many of them just disappear after a while. But new people have come in and they are excited and going to do all these great things and then...
This is what happens in a hobby populated mostly by 16-21 year old males. They're young, excited and awesome (just ask em). But by 21 most have gone off to college or hooked up with a woman or just moved out and are broke and car stereo is on the back burner. Some stay active and some even return, but most just fade away. This is even true of you too right Logan? Now that you're done playing with euro cars you are back to something where your dollars can go to fun rather than repairs
Like I tell so many people when they are ranting about the board - it's not the board that changed, it's them. Nobody believes it but from being here from the beginning, more or less it's true

My $0.02 says that the ebb and flow of members will continue forever.....personally I will still answer the same old questions over and over if need be because it's still new to the newbie who asked and I can still remember being in that position myself.
Love to carry on with this but as one of the "elders" it's time to go put my teeth in their bathtub and get some sleep.....

I will agree with the ebb and flow theory on the board. I have been here off and on for 4,5 years or so? Either way, times change so do people. You either deal with it or gtfo.
