Anyone going to the free show in Cambridge next tuesday? I went to the last one. They had money prizes! (some sort of give away thing?) I'm going to run my Neon through. Might do 135db if I'm lucky. From what I gather, this is an SPL show, but they also have a tweek and tune as well for SQ cars. Free RTA time. Last time they also gave prizes out for most rattleing, lowest SPL and some other stuff.

I just spoke to the guys at the store. Should be a fun show. I'm glad it free, no pressure to win! They told me they gave away a cupple hundred bucks last time. And the prizes arent all for the loudest or best sounding cars. They have prizes that anyone can win. Cool.

Shows like this bring in NEW people. Most of us started out in car audio for the love of it. NOT to see how many trophies we can get.

The last show was small, but fun. I hope this one is bigger, but still as FUN.

Unfortunately I can't make it! Got to work....I won $100 prize in the draw portion where anyone can win .....quite unexpectantly I won. It was a lot of fun even though it was a small show. I even hit 136db with one twelve in a sealed box with a 200watt Clarion amp...Surprised me I tell ya!
Go and support the vendor ...show him there's interest and hopefully he'll do bigger shows with bigger prizes!

 

The show is on Tuesday, from 6 or 7 till 9.
