What did 604Autosound tell you? Jeff and the group there should be able to sell you what you'd like. Did they have advice to give?

yeah he said that i should'nt go with 1 15" and 1000watts was alot for a single sub. he wanted to put me into 2 12"s + box + amp = 1200. Ive been thinking of buying the amp off of the classifieds here and get it shipped. buy the speaker local.... maybe build the ported box myself.

I think Keith has 2 user names, notice the slogan in the reply
I'm just Kidding
Sounds Good rock, they have done alot of work on my car, I like to change thing around alot so...

If you want to run 1000 watts in a sub then Sounds Good sells Digital Designs, (1) 2515 with dual 4 ohm coils will match up nice to a DD m1b.
The subs got a 750 rms (3000 peak) and the amp will put out 780x1@2ohms.
That should pound really nice, and great thing is they sound awsome and are really reasonable in price.
I would however have the guys at Sounds Good make the box for you, DD's really need to be in a box thats built to there specs in order to sound good.

CREATIONZ in Langley (604) 514-1686.........ask for Dave or Brett
VALLEY AUDIO and RECREATION in Mission (604) 820-8694....ask for Nick
AVU Langley (604) 629-7458.....ask for Azmath
KAOTIC KUSTOMS in Langley (604) 533-0447.....ask for Jan

They will either have access to HERTZ, AUDISON, EXILE.......amplifiers and Subwoofers.....and 15" in Hertz and Exile.

Jeff out at 604 Autosound is usually really good at recommending product and designing stuff.....maybe there was a good reason for him suggesting two 12" subs...over one 15"....#1 it will probabaly be louder !!!

Anyway...give those shops a try and see what they recommend....if you get similar answers as you did with 604 Autosound...then maybe thats what you should do.....hope that helps.

hey guys, thanks for the great info!! i have talked to sounds good and he gave me the lowdown on the stuff they carry. yeah i can see 2 12s being louder then 1 15 but thats not what im really into. I have heard 1 15 vs 2 12s in a blazer and i just like the deeper feeling bass that i heard from the 15. Am i out of my mind or maybe i was just high idonno haha.

15" will definatly sound lower than a 12".......I think I remember you saying you like the area between 20 and 40 hz....lol
