Great shop(s) for amp/6.5" comp. install
Good day gentlemen,
I'm getting an early start on finding a shop that can install a 3 channel amp, a pair of 6.5" components, sound deadening material in the front doors only, and all necessary power wires, speaker wires, etc.
We live in Brantford, and are willing to drive 100km, one way, for a PERFECT install.
Head-unit has been installed as of Friday, 28th of November.
Here's what we have ready: DLS A5 3 channel amp. 25ft of 4AWG Lightning Audio SQ2 power wire.
We still need to buy a component set of 6.5" speakers. Looking at the Hertz HSK165's. These need to be wired directly to the amp, not through the wiring harness.
From the shop we'll need to buy a 100A ANL fuse, speaker wire, remote turn on wire, and sound-deadening material.
There should be enough of the power wire to use for the ground at the amp, and we're also looking for a shop that'll use this wire to add a 2nd ground from the battery to the chassis.
Also, I'd like to go to a shop that'll let me watch the install from start to finish. If its good work, that shouldn't be an issue.
If you're a shop owner and are looking for business, let it be known.

I believe the closest vendor to you on this site is Selective Sound.
I used to have a place near Powerline and Park Rd N, and from there you are looking at aprox 45 min, to an hour drive to their shop.
They did my install, see sig
As for them letting you watch, not likely. Most shops have a waiting room for a reason
