Oh wait a minute... Termpro sez it's April 15th... that post yesterday said April 23rd....

So which is it hmmm??? I can't make it this weekend, I'll be up in Edmonton

Yep to the No Wall, so far. I've doubled up on amps (still just one sub) and put an interior into the van, and a better alternator, so it could be interesting.

My buddies say the new interior should make me louder, I say the opposite, but with the new amp I should expect an extra 3db... so.........

My best ever was 144.8 last year, train batteries (at that indoor 3X), no interior, and one amp...

If I hit 148 as is I'll be surprised & happy. Any more and I'll be into the "dance of joy" domain...

That's pretty much how it looks today, except I added a strip of the paneling over all the blue lights so they're not so bright. Worked pretty good.

Spanked? Well I wouldn't say that... I had ONE 12in. subwoofer, you had two. I think I was running 1/2 the power as you as well (1200@1 for me, wasn't it 2000+ for you?) Although, I did have the 15 volt advantage over you. My sub was in a box in the back of the van, yours were mounted on your B pillars. Plus, my van probably has three or four times the interior volume to fill with sound pressure than your Cavalier had, and hugo doors to try to seal...

All that and you were what... 4 or 5 db over me? Given a hardware handicap, those are pretty close numbers, but yes, even if we had matching hardware I think that Cavvy would still kill my van. Although I think my van performed it's best that night, with a comparitavely modest setup.

Spanked, no. Out SPL'd, yes. Are our setups a good match? Yep, I think they're a great match. And now I've got about the same power you had last year, still one sub though, so we'll see if I get anywhere near your highest score in that Cavvy. Getting as close as I can to your scores from last year is my goal this year... What was your highest in that Cavvy against me? Too bad you ditched that car though, I'd like to try it head to head again...

And now you've gone and built a wall setup, so we're not even in the same league anymore.... I don't wanna do a wall yet, maybe next year. I'd rather do up this PowerWheels I have waiting for Piper and Chayse to do the Mini Stock class in... That'll be a blast! But so busy lately, haven't even fathomed a plan yet...

And I'm afraid that my having added an interior to the van this winter will only harm my scores, not improve them. Opinions vary, I could be wrong. Maybe I should drop one amp for an experiment if we have some time on Sunday...
