Dave the crappy part about finals in indy is that the venue is in a huge ghetto lol. we stayed at a hotel about 20 mins drive away right off the highway. our hotel was good but no one was around. the host hotels are pretty expensive. but id like to see all of up staying at the same hotel and partying like rockstars as a group.

no one will stay at the same hotel cuz it's too expensive and too far away.

last year i found a place that was closer and cheaper than the host hotel. No 20 min highway drives to the venue, only a 10 min drive thru the ghetto.

if you are a competitor you want to stay as close to the venue as possible so you can get there in the shortest possible time. If you are there to just spectate then I guess it doesnt matter.

If i go I will probably stay at the same hotel I did last year.

Dave, just look up the zip code for the venue and then search hotels that are near by. That is what I did. Screw the host hotel and screw the rest of Canadians stayin together. It's all about saving time, distance and money.

Unless someone finds us a hotel close buy and book a decent rate Im looking for my own hotel again.

Dave, the cars must stay at the venue. You either need a rental car to travel or you need to make other arrangements for transportation. I towed my rex with the jeep and was using the jeep to drive back and forth.
