I think the gate is $20. Considering the sizes of the show, it's not bad at all.

most spl sq shows end around 3-5 pm. the entire drag racing and other car related stuff ends at 11pm.

so if a guy shows up at noon he is expected to wait til midnight to get any results. im planning on the sound end of things to wrap up around 6pm at the latest

Usually the IASCA events are DEAD at CSCS.

Having a name like IASCA backing the event helps get sponsors, but again, the IASCA portion IS dead and tucked in a corner somewhere

Show and shine, drag racing and road course is what does ok.

thanks for the kind words!!!!!!!!!!

But the show is a go. Jeff and Martine have been great at helping getting these shows happening!

And yes there is a gate fee, and the IASCA show should be done around 5pm.

Jeff is in charge of IDBL and Gerard will be in charge of SQ.

Any questions email me at icebird88@hotmail.com.

See u there

damn...for some one that runs canadianCARAUDIO saying that IASCA is dead and should be tucked in a corner is a pretty unhealthy attitude towards the car audio enthusiasts

sorry..thats just my 0.02 worth

IASCA events are dead at CSCS events...

1. CSCS goes on a tight budget
2. Minimal Trophies
3. 1x events only
4. Gate fee plus entry gets expensive
5. It always seems to call for rain in the weather
6. There is usually other events on the same day closer to competitors
7. Certain people like to bash the org on line! If you prefer another org than support it, there is no need to bash other orgs cuz it wont help other orgs or websites look any better. The funny thing is how people can bash an org but not be found in the lanes of any org.
8. If you are unsure about anything, please reread numbers 1-7.

CSCS is looking to offer those who are at the event already to have the chance to compete in sound. They have requested to have dB Drag added to the Napierville, PQ show to try it as well.

I am not on here to poach this event but to respond to questions or comments. " Oh PLEASE come to this event!" People should just go where they want to go without having to read negativity. dB Drag, IASCA, CSPL, NESPL ... who cares... as long as they are all being supported by someone!

Chris B.... where is that sig of yours, I could use it right now.

All good points Jeff... most of all I agree about the part about just getting out there and supporting SOMEONE. At the end of the day any and all shows are doing the right thing by getting people interesting in the sport and giving us a place to play.

Go............HAVE FUN

I was looking forward to going to a sound quality show that is CLOSE BY.

There is a 10% chance of me showing up as a competitor.

I have been hitting shows all over the place for many years now........and I always have a good time.
There is credit to be given out to all the people that take the time to put these shows on. It takes a lot of work to get them ready.
If you are on this site..........you love car audio! Take a little time to support one another.
I hope that the turn out is a good one. I might be there.........checking out the cars.....getting ideas.....
