Guys, I am trying to put this whole thing together with Scott Buwalda and he asked to me put out some feelers.

Sunday Aug 7 would be the Scott Buwalda SQ Summit and Mon Aug 8 would be the IASCA SQ Judges training seminar.

The seminar will be held on a monday due to most shops (except the big box stores) being closed on Mon........yes not everyone is but I am sure that most people would rather do it on a monday then a sat which is typically the busiest day of the week for retail.

I need a show of hands as to who is going to attend each one ASAP so that the conference room and Scott's airfare can be booked.

Oh man, I would SO love to attend both. I doubt I can though since I'll be having a new family addition arriving in late July so money and time will be devoted elsewhere.

 

The SQ summit will most likely be at the shop here, unless we get to many people. The judges training will probably be at the Sandman in here in Port Kells.

I have not got confirmation on the cost of the SQ summit and I am waiting on IASCA to also let me know, I'm just trying to get a idea on who would like to attend.

Possibly both but I'm considering the judges training (or I guess, re-training in my case) more seriously.

Sorry I didn't see this thread sooner. Many apologies. I was looking for it in the wrong forum.

The cost is $250.00 USD/$350.00 Canadian to attend the SQ Summit. It would be on Sunday, August 7. I know it's relatively short notice. According to my records to earlier this Summer, there were about 30 interested in attending. So please, help us out and give a definite thumbs up or thumbs down for this date. I would need to book airline tickets before things get absolutely crazy in price.
