i think u were reading the old rules. there is no more street 1-2, it goes like this now (for DB DRag that is, it's diff for iasca)

Street A:
3 - 8's
2 - 10's
1 - 12
Maximum of 1 amp – 2 Conductors Total between amp rack and sub enclosure Car off, no extra battery, deck installed in the dash.

Street B
4 - 8's
3 - 10's
2 - 12's
1 - 15
Maximum of 2 amps – 4 Conductors Total between amp rack and sub enclosure. and everything else above

Street C
8 -8's
6 - 10's
4 - 12's
2 - 15's
1 - 18
Maximum of 4 amps – 8 Conductors Total between amp rack and sub enclosure. Allowed one extra battery of equal or smaller size than the battery under the hood. Plus all other restrictions from above.

There are also battery restrictions with respect to it's physical size in terms of it surface area. i think it's limited at like 800cu inches.

if u are hitting over 140 db's u must be outside the car durring the run.
no interior mods allowed.
sitting battery voltage can not be higher than 14volts. no batcaps allowed but u can use 1 capacitor in street A and B and two in street C.
u can not have a wall, box must stay belowe the window line and it has to be located in the cargo area of the vehicle and can not interfear with normal use of the seats (can not have your box on top of your folded seats). seats can only be folded down if that option is availabe from the factory, can not remove any of the 1st and 2nd row seats (can only fold them down if they are ment to be folded down)

i think thats pretty much the db drag rules for street class.
thats pretty much the db drag street class rules for u.

Based on that I think I might be entering class be then. Class C sounds extremely hardcore. B suits my setup a little better. Do you know the record is for B??

Canadian record or world record?
last year canadian record was something like 149.7db. This year it's at 147.7 so far but probably going to get over 150 pretty soon.
World record for last year was something like 153.5 and this year it's 153 i think so far.
I was doing 150.7 in that class but i could only get it up there after the season was finished. maybe this year i will go back down into that class to see what i can do.

Yeah I think I might go Class B, cause I know that if I go Class C I'll be doing WAY TOO MANY mods, and mine's an everyday driver. I don't want $15 000.00 of inventory sitting in my car.
Where can I buy a good meter?? My current one peaks out at 135.

a good meter? well u can buy the official db drag meter directly from the db drag, the cheapest set up is $600 USD. if u just want to use a meter for a day to tune your car maybe before the shows start I could come by your shop with my meter, which is the official db drag pressure sensor, and we can play with it. will cost u $20 bux and a pizza.
