We will be having a dB drag on July 17th in Crownest Pass, AB. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, it is right on the BC/AB border and is 2 hours south of Calgary and 2 hours east of Cranbrook.
This is the same time as our town's massive Rum Runner Days celebration, and the population almost triples for that weekend.
There will be a concert, beer gardens, mud bog, parade, as well as the largest fireworks show in Western Canada.

Details for the dB drag will be up by next week.

Yeah I hope I get directions or there will not be a show!

It's easy to get to from Calgary but I don't know the town.

Trust me, there's not much to know, fairly small place. Shouldn't be too hard to find but would be nice to have a landmark to look out for rather than asking somebody.

It will probably be at the crowsnest center, which is right behind the Mac's store on the highway in Blairmore. I will keep you posted.

Looks like the show will be in the IGA parking lot. To get there, you go to Blairmore and turn south at the Mac's store. About 2 blocks down the main street you will see IGA on the left.

Entry fee will be $10 and there will be trophies for first, second, and third in each class.

Also, registration is at 5 and the show starts at 6.

I believe the IGA's going to put on a Bar-B-Q for the show, and afterwards is the huge fireworks display in the school field.

Hope to see a good turn out.

The classes offered will be:

Street C
Street Max
Superstreet/Extreme

I can offer a place to stay to out-of-towners as well. Please leave a post if you are coming as I am trying to estimate attendence.

For anyone interested the Extreme Bronco will be attending.

Should be a good show.

I hope there is going to be more than just Martin and I at the show cause that would kinda suck... I know some of you Calgary guys are just itching to go to a show before the double on the 25th.

We have moved from doing 3 trophies per class to two trophies per class because there will likely not be enough people to cover trophy costs and trophies are damn expensive. Otherwise things are going as planned and it should be a good show if we get the turnout.
